Last month I was back at LDX3 (LeadDev) in London running a second Director+ workshop. This time it was on another topic I’m living and breathing in my day job right now:
How do you get beyond the hype of AI, and adopt and measure AI tools safely in regulated, high-velocity engineering teams?
I put this workshop together to also crowdsource some ideas from other leaders in the industry, and personally I learnt lots from running the session. If you were there on the day, thank you so much for your willingness to engage and share your experience 🙏
In the workshop we explored two key questions:
- How do you design guardrails that catch AI debt, without killing velocity and properly considering regulation?
- How do you measure real Return on Investment (ROI) beyond lines of code and PR throughput?
Everything I covered was based on my own personal experience, and real problems I’m either solving (or have solved!) in my day-to-day role.
